Police Seek Long Island 16-Year-Old Missing Over Week

Authorities are asking for help in locating a 16-year-old Long Island boy who has been missing for over a week.

David Smith was last seen leaving his Mastic Beach home, located on Cedar Road East, at around 5 p.m. on Monday, May 1.

David Smith was last seen leaving his Mastic Beach home, located on Cedar Road East, at around 5 p.m. on Monday, May 1, according to Suffolk County Police.

Family members reported the teen missing on Friday, May 5.

Smith is described as a Black, Hispanic male, 6-feet-1-inch tall and 220 pounds. He has curly brown hair and brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
